A beautiful home in an authentic Belgian building style with a lovely garden.
A videophone system was built into one of the pillars of the fence. An access system was integrated into the outdoor videophone unit.
When the owners arrive home from a stroll in the neighborhood or a bicycle trip, they use their electronic key to open the fence. This key is made in the form of a key hanger.
The cleaning maid has an electronic key too. Hers however, only functions on the days that she is supposed to be there. The other days the fence stays closed.
When visitors arrive on a lazy Sunday morning, the picture of the visitors is displayed on a small LCD screen from the home automation system just above the bed. With one of the two buttons on that same panel, they can switch to a camera in the back garden. When the inhabitants hear some noise during the night, a panic button lights the garden and shows the unwanted visitor on the LCD screen.
