Design Villa buit with rheodynamic® concrete in a historical village
Ypres, Belgium
This villa is situated just outside the historical centre of Ypres. This building is truly one of a kind, designed by Yves Malisse from UR architects.
It is an L shape 3 floors high building made in rheodynamic® concrete in combination with broken limestone and paddock beams.
Adjacent to the master bedroom there is a big and beautiful terrace that shows you the skyline of Ypres with the belfry and cloth hall towers. The unique design continues throughout the whole building.
The Intensia M-series were used to control the lights, sun screens, videophone, etc.
Sensitive motion detectors automatically switch on and off the lights in common spaces like the night hall, toilets and storage rooms.
