Two of the small historical houses for which Bruges (Venice of the north) is so famous, were joined together and completely renovated by the owner and architect Kurt Vandenbogaerde.
The interior was completely designed by the architect.
In the living room a small podium with old original cinema seats is hidden behind a stage curtain. Pressing the movie button will open the curtain, set the lights on the ideal level, switch on the projector and start the DVD. All with one simple action.
Also the fireplace was his own design as well as the idea to use rolling file cabinets as dressing room because of the limited space. A house full of refreshing ideas …
